I was going to ask you about that. I would have popped down had it been Friday or Saturday and stayed over.

Have a good time, but don't play songs you have been told too!!! Smile

Its a pity youre not coming as its a mega gig cheap beer and food plus staggering distance to your room..we never play what we are told only what we want ,..You will want to go to the leek arts gig next year though mate as long as the swann isnt a happy eater buy then there are rumours weatherspoons are about to get it...

To be honest, I would only go for Demon, the rest of the line-up for that night doesn't appeal on sight. If you had been on before Magnum the next night I would have gone for sure. Still, not written it off just yet. Seems like a good venue, I know that area. Have a good time and try to get people to take photos and videos of Demon eh? Oh and say hello to Bob and Tony for me.

Have a great gig! Way too far for me to get to sadly, but I've heard that these shows are great fun, and hopefully you'll pick up some new fans along the way too Smile

Talking of the Friday night line-up; I saw Tygers of Pan Tang a few months back and I was VERY disappointed. I was never a fan but went along with someone expecting to hear AT LEAST a couple of tracks from 'The Cage' and the track 'Love don't stay', but no!! It seemed to be a competition to how heavy metal they could sound!?

Just a 'heads up' for anyone - or should that be 'heads down'?

I see Demon didn't manage to get their name/logo on the promotional poster alongside the other bands! I suspect they are (or were) in the 'to be announced' lot!?

Good luck for tonight Demon - remember to play for Demon, for Mal, for the legacy of this rock band that has written CLASSICS. Most importantly, play for your fans in the UK who get sod all chance of seeing you........... and not just some smelly, drunken bikers. Remember that you NEVER SOLD OUT!!!

Is that a big flag with Demon written on it OR a flag with 'Big Demon' written on it? Cool Wink Smile It's a fair comment - that was the original name of the band.

Thanks Russel.

Good clip; picture and sound. I like the very slightly slowed down melody - works well.

This guy obviously knows his stuff first he says we are AOR...secondly he says the crowd thinned out...then he said we played ballads at eleven o clock. We went on at around 11 15 to around a thousand people or more did our usuall set went down well and came of stage perhaps i was at another gig from him ...he gives the tygers a glowing revue then slags girschool to me both bands went down great...strange

That guy must have been pissed or stoned - or both - and/or know the square root of f*ck all about music, because there ain't no AOR ballad on that Demon set-list!
