I don't know how you could make any sense of that TheOnlySaneMan; the punctuation, spelling and grammar is that of a pre-school child..... i.e. non-existent. I think the general gist is that I shouldn't comment on the management of a band because I didn't decide to pursue this as a full-time career. Is that not like saying to everyone that criticizes the prime minister that they couldn't run the country? Do you not see how logically flawed your argument is? I shouldn't be surprised because that level of reason is reflected in your dumbed-down and hideously basic 'smack on the back of the head' "music".

Mal Spooner must be turning in his grave at the outspoken 'thug' you appear to be on this discussion forum Neil You reflect very badly on the group Demon and the rather grand legacy of the group's music. Shame on you Neil! It is indeed an indication of the half-hearted, un-motivated control freaks that decided to suppress and own this group and ultimately be forced to stoop to these hideous levels of personnel recruitment. Have some dignity man, if only for the reputation of the band!

For your information, the reason I have referred to Magnum a few times is not because I am a fan as such (only a couple of albums) is because their beginnings, their music and their opportunites have been VERY simliar to Demon - the difference being THEY WORK, THEY PROMOTE, THEY DON'T THINK THE MUSIC BUSINESS OWES THEM A LIVING (BUT WON'T GIVE IT TO THEM BECAUSE THEY DON'T 'SELL OUT').

Go on tour, book some gigs, look like it is midly serious on stage for a minute - instead of doing some sort of "Norman Wisdom" routine on stage! Get a grip! Stop playing big boys games in the guise of a rock band.

Then came the difficult second album giles body ruined by his constant touring and ovaltine addiction... he had to spend a week in the betty fords of winsford clinic trying to dry out.He at this point made the big decision to move out of his back bedroom and make the long trip down the drive to the granny flat where he would set about writing the concept album..loosely based on his time touring with MAGNUM and mary hopkins...those were the days my friend eh giles..he enlisted the help of mr duffy his mentor who he had met as a boy, when he joined the boys brigade as no 2 trumpet player and head horn polisher, they quickly churned out epic after epic giles resisting the urge for ovaltine ...mr duffy supllying bovril as a replacement to ease the comedown,it was tough but they managed to release it on the buffet island lable after k tel had pulled the plug ...and the rest is history it sold all over the world even reaching number 8 in bratislava, also doing a live show on the gay burne dinner time talk show just after boyzone, and i might add catching the eye of a young steven gately..rip...in the process,go to go and punch some puppies now me being a thug keep tuning in for the next installment...
