many bands now are playing whole albums, live eg rush 2112 wishbone ash argus roger waters the wall. you get the idea would demon ever consider this. i am sure we would all have a favourite, any of the first 3 albums would be good.

It's not a bad idea actually as it could put Demon back into the 'spotlight'. I think the obvious choice for Demon would be 'The Plague' as that is considered to be their 'classic' album isn't it? Although, I'm pretty sure Steve Watts would choose 'BSA'.

C'mon..
With a new album out, let them focus on that one this year.
Allthough I was a bit surprised they only did 2 songs from the new one at Rockland.

Hi Russel - I didn't mean 'now', just something to think about - it's not a bad idea actually - in my opinion.

Yeah, two songs from a new album is most odd. Let me guess, they were I Still Believe and Fill your head with rock? I happen to think Unbroken would make a stonking opener after a nice big atmospheric intro.

Giles,
OK.
BSA would be nice, but this line-up of the band is more into rocker tunes imo.

Not the single I still Believe but Unbroken!!!

Oh, slightly disappointed now - from the thread title I thought there was a new live album in the making! Embarassed

Soooo... I think "The Plague" would be the obvious contender, as it still has the energy and catchiness of the early material, but also the progressive edge of the mid-80s Demon. I love "BSA", but a full live performance of it would probably be a bit too dark, even slow for "general audiences" - of course, to me it would mean "fangasm"... Laughing
