I was just wondering if Dave was with any bands prior to Demon that were signed up and released anything or did anything as a solo artist ? I've been told he was possibly signed to Quarry Productions in the late 70s. Home to Graham Bonnet, Status Quo, Micky Moody, Rory Gallagher etc but, don't know if this is true.

All I am aware of (only very recently thanks to GOUDG) is some French glam rock band Iron Cross.

Google "Iron Cross Little bit o' soul" for both images and web search. You will spot Dave in band photo.

yes it is the famed Clive Cook who played on the first Demon album he also produced another single called constipation shake which was banned by the BBC if memory serves me right. If you ever get to hear it you will know why its hilariously funny

Is this what DDR is referring to in 'Daisy Daisy'?

It could be, I don't think so though - I got the impression that 'Daisy' was (maybe) Steve's knickname for Dave - you know, 'Day' for short, then Daysie!??? Rolling Eyes
