What do you think about Turkey?
My wife is turkish, and so i am involved. It´s not our main problem, because we are living in germany, but you may imagine i have got a discussion about it. Does it end in a civil war or will Erdogan realize the difference between North Africa and Europe?
So, what do you think?

fyi: Turkey is the land where you and your family are usualy spending your holidays in the burning heat of 40 degrees celsius in 5 stars hotels with all included services at 'Side', for 300? a week exploiting the hotel employees to the blood of their bones preluding the happy family itself.
That´s Turkey!
Okay, after this. Where are you going to spend your holidays next year when this option is gone due to a (foreign caused) war?
I guess it might be Bulgary, Burgas. Then you can look abroad the black sea to Turkey and think how pretty it could have been to be over there... until the war takes over to Bulgary and to ...
I think this is a discussion about the EU. So, I need to extend my question to "what do you think about Turkey to be member of the EU"?
I´ve got my opinion about this question. What´s yours?
Could a membership bring a solution for the current conflict? Would it be useful for Europe? Will it bring more understanding and partnership between islam and christians?
Or will the whole EU breed something like the USSR in former days which will clash in some kind of supernova?
Yes, we are talking about science fiction! Some fiction which could be pretty near if we´re not going to prevent it! But what do we need to prevent from what???
Don´t say life´s boring. Everything can change by the flip of a butterfly´s wing! So if this is true, what do you think what could be changed by simply raising YOUR arm?
Okay, by now, Turkey is only the country where you and your family had spent their holidays the last years. Next year you are going to visit Bulgary...

...if next year Bulgary is not involved in a civil w..

Okay, last option: come to us, to Germany, and see the beauty of the baltic sea at Timmendorfer Strand... if you can afford it.. and if you can stand the flock of snobs who can afford it...

"70 thousend tons of metal" or "Full metal cruise". There you will get "70 thousend pounds of assholes", and you don´t need to get on sea...

...so, better take a look on the map where Turkey is. It could make sense...
