Yes you read correct we have completely re-mixed TTWBS earlier this year, it was long overdue, the album has a WARMER OVERALL SOUND with better Bass and Vocal levels, some effects are different BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN drastically CHANGED OR RE-RECORDED, we remixed with studio engineer STEPHEN BOYCE BUCKLEY the same engineer as we used on UNBROKEN and WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD plus the original ARTWORK has been RE-SCANNED and reworked by JOHN SCANE including some photos of the band and Lyrics in the CD booklet, better than our previous effort. the Remix is available NOW from the Merchandise page.

Anything new concerning the formerly mentioned new album? Still in progress?

Gobsmacked at how bad this is. Really just cannot comprehend why you would ruin Demon's greatest album. If you had wanted to remix something why not try Blowout. That is an album that is crying out for a decent sound.

I would certainly never use words as strong as Darklord1899, but on the whole I have to agree - it doesn't sound very good, I'm afraid. The balance of instruments seems off, the keyboards sound like they're coming from another room and the guitars sound very weak compared to the original, which still stands up perfectly fine and holds its own against other, more expensive late 1980s productions.
I am glad that I own the original LP and CD on Sonic and also the Remaster, but still I'm gutted to see that the brilliant original album, a true classic, is currently unavailable and an inferior (sorry - my opinion!) product is sold in its place... if you'd offered it as a bonus disc to the real thing, I'd be alright, but it's a shame that new fans discovering Demon can't get their hands on the classic we all love unless they search a used copy on Ebay.
The only Demon albums that I feel haven't really stood the test of time sound-wise are "Spaced-Out Monkey" (sounds very much of its time) and "Better The Devil" (probably a budget thing), but even those two are what they are and should stay unchanged.
Sorry to be a Rick with a silent P, but sadly, that's how I feel... Crying or Very sad
